macOS: Music App

Oct 2, 10:00 am .. 11:00 am

The reports of iTunes death are greatly exaggerated!

Okay, Apple did technically pull the plug on its nearly 20-year-old music listening and library app in 2019, but iTunes was merely retired and replaced with three new and even better apps: Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, and Apple TV.

The good news is that none of the features you love are going into the trash bin, so you'll still be able to do everything you did before. Unfortunately, the bad news is that you’ll need to take some time to learn what this means in practical terms for your everyday use of your devices, music, and movies.

This class teaches you exactly what you need to know...so you’ll know how to confidently set up and use the new platforms to take advantage of and enjoy the new benefits and features of the landmark changes.

Jamie will teach you about the new Music app, which is now based around the Apple Music subscription service. You can still maintain your own personal Music Library; however, the iTunes Cloud Library can be a challenge to unpack. This is why you need to come and learn about all the ins and outs of managing your Library and navigating the features of Apple Music.

After taking this class, you’ll be able to wipe away your sad iTunes mourning tears and replace them with a smooth grooving happy dance.
